Lead Scoring Overview
What is lead scoring?
Scoor automatically assigns every lead a score from 0 to 100 based on signals like email quality, company data, phone validity, and profile completeness. The score tells your setters exactly who to call first.
Instead of working leads in the order they came in, your team works the hottest leads first — which typically increases booked call rates by 30–50% without any extra ad spend.
How scores are calculated
Scoor's scoring engine combines data quality signals with fit signals. The base score is calculated automatically for every lead:
| Signal | Impact | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Email deliverable | High + | Email passed all MailGuard checks |
| Business email | Medium + | Not a free provider (Gmail, Yahoo etc.) |
| Phone valid & reachable | High + | Phone number exists and is in service |
| LinkedIn profile found | Medium + | Real person with a professional profile |
| Company data found | Medium + | Domain resolves to a real company |
| Website detected | Low + | Has an active business website |
| Duplicate lead | High − | Same email or phone already in workspace |
| Disposable email | High − | Known throwaway provider (even if bypassed) |
Score tiers
| Score | Tier | Recommended action |
|---|---|---|
| 80 – 100 | 🔥 Hot | Call within 5 minutes. Real person, real company, all data verified. |
| 60 – 79 | ✅ Qualified | Call same day. Good signals but missing some data points. |
| 40 – 59 | ⚠️ Warm | Call within 24 hours. Limited enrichment data available. |
| 0 – 39 | ❌ Cold | Low-confidence lead. Add to nurture sequence or discard. |
Lead enrichment
When a lead is added to Scoor, the enrichment engine runs automatically in the background (typically within 5–10 seconds). Scoor looks up:
- Company name, estimated size, and industry from the email domain
- LinkedIn profile URL (person and company)
- Phone number carrier and line type (mobile, landline, VoIP)
- Business website URL
- Location (country, state/city)
- Duplicate detection across the workspace
Each enrichment uses 1 credit. Credits reset at the start of your monthly billing cycle. Unused credits don't roll over.
